Purpose of Each Item

With the Berserker’s Fury as the front-liner item, Hanabi gains incredible firepower that can easily overpower any opponent during the early game. Be careful, though, because Hanabi is severely lacking in the defense department. Hide in the bushes and try to catch your enemies off-guard as much as you can.

The Swift Boots comes second. Additional attack speed is never a hindrance for Hanabi. The faster she can attack, the more damage she can deal.

After assembling the Swift Boots, you can proceed in crafting Haas’s Claw. While it’s true that Hanabi already has an ingrained lifesteal effect, it never hurts to have more. Besides, Haas’s Claw really helps when it comes to surviving fatal situations.

As for the rest of the items—Scarlet Phantom, Blade of Despair, and Malefic Roar—Hanabi needs them to drastically improve her damage. Once you assemble all of the necessary core items, no one will be able to stop you as long as you’re alive.

1. Berserker’s Fury +65 Physical Attack +25% Critical Chance +40% Critical Damage (Unique) Unique Passive (Doom): Increases the hero’s Physical Attack by 5% for 2 seconds after landing a critical hit.

2. Swift Boots +15% Attack Speed +40 Movement Speed (Unique)

3. Haas’s Claw +70 Physical Attack +20% Physical Lifesteal (Unique) Unique Passive (Insanity): Grants an extra 10% Lifesteal when HP drops below 40%.

4. Scarlet Phantom +30 Physical Attack +20% Attack Speed +25% Critical Chance Unique Passive (Frenzy): Increases Attack Speed by 30% and Critical Chance by 5% for 2 seconds after landing a critical hit.

5. Blade of Despair +170 Physical Attack +5% Movement Speed Unique Passive (Despair): Raises the hero’s physical attack damage by 25% for 2 seconds after attacking enemies that have less than 50% HP.

6. Malefic Roar +60 Physical Attack +40% Physical Penetration (Unique) Unique Passive (Armor Buster): Causes basic attacks to ignore 20% of the defensive armor of turrets.
